Tumbulgum

Just a tiny place on the road between Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads in northern NSW, Tumbulgum is a great choice for a leg stretch. Situated right on the banks of the Tweed River it a scenic spot with a pub, parks etc. For more information on the town and environs, visit Tumbulgum Visitor Information at the "Big Volcano" site.

The main picnic area and boat jetty in Tumbulgum is Faith Mussing Bandler Park. With the Tweed River, buring cane and Mt Warning in the background it couldn't be more emblematic of northern NSW.	St Peter's Anglican Church in Tumbulgum - the same age as me!	The old Tumbulgum Hall dates back to 1913.
